Armenia is ready to fully normalize relations with Turkey. This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, at a joint press conference in Tbilisi with his Georgian counterpart Wednesday. "As before, Armenia is interested and makes practical efforts to normalize relations with its neighbors," the FM said. "We [i.e. Armenia] are ready to fully normalize relations with Turkey, establish relations, [re]open the border with Turkey, and we are ready to implement the already reached agreements in this context," Mirzoyan said, adding that Armenia has a healthy dialogue with Turkey. The time has long come to implement the agreements reached on the ground, the Armenian FM repeated. According to unofficial information, a meeting between the representatives of Armenia and Turkey at the border of the two countries was planned for Tuesday. But at the last moment, the Turkish side decided not to attend this talk. On the same day, Azerbaijan made another demand from Armenia, which probably caused Turkey to decide not attend this meeting.
