Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has invited Russian President Vladimir Putin to visit Turkey in the near future. "As for the topic of tourism, it is very important for us that about 7 million tourists come to our country. Our approach in this matter remains sincere. We will continue to act in the same spirit as long as Russian tourists are satisfied with Turkey. In the context of these warm relations between Russia and Turkey, I certainly expect to welcome you to my country as soon as possible," Erdogan told Putin on the margins of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan.
