Survivors of the Nazi occupation during World War II in Poland will be able to receive assistance from the German government in the near future. Tusk added that the financial aid should arrive within a few months.Politicians did not specify what will be the amount of compensation to be paid to about 40,000 Poles who suffered from German occupation during World War II.Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk, in turn, called the statement of the FRG Chancellor the right step.
