Lukas McClish, 34, had gotten lost while hiking in the Santa Cruz Hills of California. He went hiking on June 11, taking only a flashlight and a folding knife with him. But soon, McClish lost his orientation and got completely lost, Bild reports. He wandered through the wild forest for almost ten days. He ate wild berries and drank water with his shoe. The man had to sleep in a self-made bed made of leaves. According to the traveler, he was even chased by a mountain lion. McClish was found ten days later by a drone near a waterfall, he was completely exhausted, and it was a miracle that he only suffered minor injuries. The missing tourist was found not far from the place where he was last seen. Forest fires have destroyed the sights he was passing by.
