Lebanon's Hezbollah movement said that its member Abbas (Fadel) Ibrahim Hamza Ahmad was killed in an Israeli attack today on a road in southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.The Israeli army (IDF) issued a statement confirming the attack, naming Fadel Ibrahim as the target. The statement also noted that the said "Hezbollah" member commanded the group's ground forces in the Juayya area and helped carry out attacks against Israel.Since October 7, Israel has regularly targeted "Hezbollah" militants and infrastructure in Lebanon, killing more than 320 of its members.
