Israeli troops are continuing their targeted operations, as well as waging battles against radicals in southern and central of the Gaza Strip, reports the press service of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF). The IDF continues targeted operations in Rafah—in southern Gaza Strip. During inspections in this region, the troops discovered a large amount of weapons and launched strikes at a number of mined buildings, which posed a threat to the servicemen. Also, in Tel Al-Sultan area of Rafah, several “terrorists” were killed in close combat and airstrikes, as well as the armory, from which anti-tank missiles were fired against the Israeli troops, collapsed, the IDF press service continued, noting that no information on any casualties was received by the servicemen. The Israeli troops destroyed “armed terrorists” during close combats in the central part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military added. Also in this area, a number of military buildings were destroyed, which posed a threat to the Israeli troops and were used by Hamas, the IDF noted.
