It is too early to talk about the emergence of US military bases in Armenia. Sergey Naryshkin, Director of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Russia, stated this in an interview with TASS. "For now, it is too early to talk about it," said Naryshkin, answering the question whether it is worth waiting for the US military bases to be deployed in Armenia, in connection with the change in Yerevan's policy. In the joint statement on the occasion of the Armenia-US Strategic Dialogue Capstone meeting that was held in Yerevan last week, it is noted that the two parties will strengthen cooperation in the security sector and raise the level of their cooperation to that of strategic partnership.
