Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Nasser Kanaani, has condemned the joint statement by the presidents of the United States and France and denied the "groundless and unacceptable accusations" contained in it against Tehran. This is noted in a statement posted on the Telegram account of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) of Iran. "Kanaani has called the anti-Iranian statement baseless and politically motivated," Iran's MFA said in the statement. Also, the Iranian MFA spokesperson emphasized that "the role of the Islamic Republic of Iran in establishing and strengthening stability and security in the region and in the world, in the fight against terrorist groups, in order to strengthen international security, is undeniable." In addition, Kanaani reaffirmed Tehran's commitment to "technical cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency within the framework of international rights and obligations."
