The railway specialists from Russia and Georgia are providing active assistance to the South Caucasus Railway (SRC) company in the railway restoration efforts at the flood-ravaged Lori Province of Armenia, SCR informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. On behalf of the management of Russian Railways company, 35 specialists—track engineers, surveyors, machine operators—were sent to assist SCR. Georgian Railways company has provided rolling stock and specialists to carry out repair work. Currently, in addition to about 300 employees of SCR, 35 specialists from various departments and companies included in the structure of Russian Railways and 10 employees of Georgian Railways are engaged in the railway repair work.
