The humanitarian aid transferred by Iran to the population affected by the floods in Lori Province of Armenia has arrived in the country, and the employees of the Iranian Red Crescent Society and the Armenian Red Cross Society will deliver it to Alaverdi city on Friday, Armenpress reports. In this connection, a meeting was held at the Armenian Red Cross Society with Iran's deputy chief of mission to Armenia, Bahram Toheri, and president of the Armenian Red Cross Society, Davit Nersisyan. He considered it symbolic that the Red Crescent Society of Iran was one of the first to respond to the natural disaster that occurred in Armenia, as a result of which people died, expressing its willingness to provide assistance to the victims. In turn, Bahram Toheri, extended sympathy and condolences, on behalf of the Iranian people and embassy, to the people affected by the floods in Lori Province. As reported by the Armenian Red Cross Society, the aforesaid humanitarian aid from Iranian includes canned food, tents, bedding, dishes, sanitary kits, etc.
