News - Two heads of Defense Ministry's financial service arrested in Azerbaijan on charges of embezzlement

Two more heads of the financial service of the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry, who worked in different military units, have been arrested.Azerbaijani media reports that Jabrail Orujev and Vahid Novruzlu were brought as defendants in the ongoing criminal case in the State Security Service. Both are charged under Article 179.4 of the Criminal Code (embezzlement on a large scale) and arrested for 4 months on charges of embezzlement of a large sum.
