At the start of the Thursday’s Cabinet session of the Armenian government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated that on behalf of the government and the people, he offers his condolences to the relatives and family members of the casualties of the floods that occurred on May 25 in Lori and Tavush Provinces. Floods occurred in the aforesaid provinces of Armenia due to intense rainfall. As a result, more than 15 bridges were damaged, some settlements were isolated, and the railway was damaged. Also, the floods claimed four lives. According to the decision of the government, several communities of Lori and Tavush provinces have been declared disaster zones, and a task force has been set up.
