News - Armenia 4th President Armen Sarkissian: Strengthening of Armenian statehood remains our primary goal

Today we mark the anniversary of the founding of the First Republic of Armenia, celebrated as Republic Day. The fourth President of Armenia, Armen Sarkissian, noted this in a statement he issued Tuesday on the occasion of Republic Day.  “Over a century since the declaration of the First Republic in 1918, the strengthening of Armenian statehood, fostering national unity and solidarity, and protecting our identity and spiritual values remain our primary goals. The experience of the First Republic, encompassing both its achievements and failures, continue to serve as valuable lessons and guidelines for us. Long life Armenia!” added the fourth president of Armenia.
