News - Mustafayev: 4 villages transferred from Armenia to Azerbaijan as result of border delimitation

A 12.7km long border has been decided between Armenia and Azerbaijan as a result of border delimitation work. This was announced by the Deputy Prime Minister of Azerbaijan, the chairman of the Azerbaijani border delimitation commission, Shahin Mustafayev, Svoboda reports, according to Azerbaijani media. Mustafayev noted that as a result of this border delimitation, the territories of four villages (6.5 square kilometers)—Baghanis Ayrum, Ashaghi Askipara, Kheyrimli, and Ghizilhajili—were transferred to Azerbaijan. The Azerbaijani deputy PM added that as of Friday, these territories have come under the control of the Azerbaijani border guards.
