We expected a political assessment and implementation of the CSTO mechanisms, but did not happen, Armenian Ambassador at Large Edmon Marukyan said in an interview with TASS, answering the question of why Yerevan refuses the CSTO proposal to send a mission to the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. “Now there are problems that need to be solved. We speak candidly and openly about problems, just like our colleagues. We continue to be predictable for our partners, our task is to protect the territorial integrity of Armenia,” Edmon Marukyan concluded.
