(...) There were a total of 211 passengers and 18 crew on board,” the statement added. Singapore Airlines later said 30 passengers required hospital treatment. Other passengers were treated at the airport for minor injuries. The airline offered its "deepest condolences to the family of the deceased" and said it was working with Thai authorities to "to provide the necessary assistance," and had dispatched a team to Bangkok “to provide any additional assistance needed.”
