The annual meeting and business forum of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has been started May 14-16, 2024 in Yerevan. EBRD annual meetings provide an opportunity to unite international and private sector organizations, high-ranking representatives and delegations who conduct discussions on solving global financial and economic problems. The Bank has been awarded “The Most Active Issuing Bank in Armenia in 2023” for the 6th year. The awards are based on the results of the previous year's growing Trade Facilitation Programme (TFP). The awards are a statement of the Bank’s productive and year-by-year deepening cooperation within the scope of Trade Finance with the EBRD. Throughout the cooperation, the initial limit set for the Bank has increased almost 10 times making USD 28.5 million which is currently one of the largest limits in the RA banking system. The Bank has always paid special attention to the development of trade finance instruments and the ability to meet customers' financial needs through internationally accepted tools. In cooperation with the EBRD since 2010, the Bank, in addition to trade financing, has also achieved significant success in the SME Lending Program, GCF-GEFF Armenia Energy Efficiency Program and Global Master Repo Agreement (GMRA). The Bank is continued in deepening cooperation with the EDRD. Cooperation with the EBRD in all areas amounts to around USD 70 million.
