News - USAID: American government supports development of Armenia public institutions

United States Agency for International Development (USAID)/Armenia Mission Director John Allelo, accompanied by USAID Chief Financial Officer Reginald Mitchell, met with Atom Janjughazyan, Chairman of the Audit Chamber of Armenia, the USAID/Armenia Mission office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. The aim of the meeting was to discuss the progress of reforms initiated by the Audit Chamber. USAID is aiding this effort through its funded Technical Assistance to the Audit Chamber activity. Mission Director Allelo stressed that the U.S. Government believes a robust and independent Audit Chamber can play a crucial role in strengthening citizens’ trust in public institutions and ensuring efficient use of public resources for the benefit of Armenia's citizens. USAID remains committed to supporting Armenian institutions to enhance their effectiveness for the public good!
