Russian border guards remain in Armenia and will guard Armenia's border with Turkey and Iran. This was announced by Alexander Bortnikov, Director of the Federal Security Service (FSB) of Russia, RIA Novosti reports. According to him, Armenia requested the pulling out of the temporary operative groups of the Russian border guards, and such a decision was made. Bortnikov added that the Russian border checkpoint at Zvartnots International Airport in Yerevan will be closed in the near future.
