Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan and his Azerbaijan counterpart, Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived for negotiations in Almaty, Kazakhstan, informed Ani Badalyan, spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. They were welcomed by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan, Murat Nurtleu. Earlier, in his meeting with Nurtlau, Mirzoyan specifically had noted the symbolic nature of holding the meeting of the FMs of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the Kazakh platform, and taking into account the significance of the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration in the process of normalization of relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
