The trade between Russia and Armenia has reached more than $7 billion, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced during his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in Moscow, reports RIA Novosti. "There has never been such an amount in our trade and economic relations before," added Putin. He noted that since 2015, the growth of trade between Armenia and the other Eurasian Economic Union member countries has been considerable. "Armenia's trade with the EurAsEC [i.e. the Eurasian Economic Community] countries has increased 14 times," the Russian president said. "We always pay attention to economic cooperation first."
