We, taking into account the friendly relations between our countries [i.e. Armenia and Russia], are ready to ask once, ask twice, ask three times, and even ask seven times, and then demand once, demand twice, and demand even seven times. And if that demand is ignored after seven times, then all those [Russian state] TV channels shall not be broadcast in Armenia; it is ruled out. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference Tuesday. He assured that this applies to any country. "We have already asked seven plus one time, and it seems we have already asked five times. We will demand two more times. If it doesn't work, then let's record what the next step will be," added Pashinyan. The premier noted that he expects that respect will be shown to the citizens and the state order of Armenia on those broadcasts. "I think we don't want something improbable. I don’t imagine that it would be possible to broadcast such a TV channel in Russia, on the air of which they talk about the established state order, the government, and the state [of Armenia] with the same vocabulary, or even at the level of five percent. Such a thing cannot happen; it is ruled out. We ask for a respectful attitude towards Armenia and its interests," Pashinyan summed up.
