Armenia PM holding news conference in Yerevan

by Lilit May 7, 2024

Another big press conference by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is underway in Yerevan today. The most urgent matters to be delved into during this news conference are expected to be the Armenia-Azerbaijan border delimitation process, the resultant rising wave of protests in Armenia, and numerous people’s respective march to Yerevan that started from the border village of Kirants in Tavush Province—and led by Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan, Primate of the Diocese of Tavush of the Armenian Apostolic Church—which has turned into an open form of disagreement between Pashinyan's political team and the Armenian higher clergy.
