We have started the border delimitation from Tavush [Province] to create a security guarantee. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during his press conference Tuesday. "When this process of border delimitation [with Azerbaijan] goes as normal, ends, reaches its completion, it will be a security guarantee in itself. We went to it to delegitimize the war, to deprive the war of any basis," Pashinyan said. He stated that if this border delimitation started from another area, the war would not be delegitimized. "The reason is very simple: in this case it is about settlements; this is a very important nuance. The escalations of [tension in] 2021, 2022 have raised questions among the international community. With pain, I have to record that they were explained in many cases on the international platforms by the factor of the four Azerbaijani villages. In those situations, we found ourselves in the role of the defendant," the Armenian premier stressed.
