Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in part: The march coming from Kirants [village of Tavush Province] to [the capital] Yerevan, under the leadership of Fr. Bagrat since Saturday, has caused serious concerns among the authorities. [PM] Nikol Pashinyan has instructed the [ruling] CC [(Civil Contract) party] members and the coordinators of the government propaganda block to work vigorously in social networks and media to link the movement as much as possible with the former [Armenian authorities] and Russia, to discredit the [Armenian] church and Fr. Bagrat, to declare that Armenia cannot become a religious state, etc. On the other hand, the authorities were warned not to make statements that will exacerbate the situation and turn disgruntled people against the authorities. And today he [i.e. Pashinyan] also will join that struggle, by giving a press conference.
