The law enforcement officers of the capital Tbilisi have arrested 63 participants of the protest taking place near the Parliament of Georgia, the latter’s deputy minister of internal affairs, Aleksandre Darakhvelidze, informed in a press briefing Wednesday. "The Ministry of Internal Affairs officers detained 63 people, pursuant to [Criminal Code] Articles 166 and 173, for petty hooliganism and disobedience to the legal demands of the police, during the protest on Rustaveli Avenue," said Darakhvelidze. To note, numerous people are protesting against the Georgian parliament’s adoption of the law on "foreign agents."
