Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Paruyr Hovhannisyan on Thursday received Alex Carnes, Majority Clerk of the US Senate Subcommittee on the Department of State and Foreign Operations; Andrew Platt, Professional Staffer; and Paul Rademacher, Senior Appropriations Advisor at the US Department of State Bureau of Legislative Affairs. Hovhannisyan commended the high level of political dialogue between Armenia and the US, and touched upon the Armenia-US bilateral agenda as well as the prospective spheres of cooperation. The US assistance to Armenia, as well as the arrangements reached as a result of the joint Armenia-EU-US high level meeting held on April 5, were discussed also. Also, the deputy FM touched upon the recent developments in Armenia’s region, and presented the outcome of the last meeting of the state commissions on delimitation of the state border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
