News - MFA spox: We will inform about date of Armenia, Azerbaijan FMs’ possible meeting at Kazakhstan proposal

We will inform about the date of the possible meeting between the foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan at the suggestion of the Kazakh side as soon as an agreement is reached. Ani Badalyan, press secretary of the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Foreign Affairs (RA MFA), informed the RFE/RL Armenian Service about this. "The RA considers and favors mediation efforts or platforms for conducting negotiations that are truly aimed at the objective of achieving lasting peace in the South Caucasus, support the fundamental principles and mutually agreed documents, including the RA and Azerbaijan's recognition of each other's territorial integrity and the border delimitation process based on the 1991 Alma-Ata Declaration," Badalyan added. Earlier, the president of Azerbaijan announced that they agree to the aforesaid meeting on the Kazakh platform.
