News - Finance minister, Ambassador Maragos discuss Armenia-EU financial, economic cooperation coordination

Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan on Friday received the Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos. The parties discussed Armenia-EU cooperation and its prospects for development, the Ministry of Finance of Armenia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am. Also, they conferred about the strategy of public financial management and the coordination of Armenia-EU financial and economic cooperation. Separately, Minister Hovhannisyan lauded the assistance provided by the EU for resolving the problems of Armenians forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, and emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation between the parties in this regard. Ambassador Maragos also underscored the effective and constructive cooperation, and reaffirmed his readiness to expand its directions.
