News - USAID chief: We mourn those killed during Armenian Genocide

Today, we mourn those killed during the Armenian Genocide and commit to telling their stories so they are never lost to history. Samantha Power, Administrator of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), noted this on X—formerly Twitter, in connection with the 109th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide.  “I am inspired by the resiliency of the Armenian people and all they have built, but we can never forget. Honored to have paid my respects last year,” the USAID chief added, and posted photos from her visit to the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan as part of her visit to Armenia last year.
