News - Shanghai Cooperation Organization delegation to visit Armenia

A delegation from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) will visit Armenia on September 20. The main goals of the SCO are to strengthen mutual trust and neighborliness among member countries, promote their effective cooperation in political, commercial, economic, scientific, technical and cultural domains, as well as in education, energy, transport, tourism, environmental protection and other domains, joint provision and maintenance of peace, security and stability in the region, and to achieve progress towards the creation of a democratic, just, and rational new international political and economic order. Since 2016, Armenia has been granted the status of SCO dialogue partner.
