Presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan Vladimir Putin and Ilham Aliyev will meet in Moscow on April 22. The leader of Azerbaijan will be in Russia on a working visit, according to the press service of the Kremlin. "It is planned to consider the key issues of the further development of the Russian-Azerbaijani strategic partnership and allied relations, as well as to hold a thorough exchange of views on current regional issues," the Russian presidential press service reports on the topics of the talks. Also, the leaders of the two countries will meet with veterans of the construction of the Baykal-Amur highway, the construction of which was led by Ilham Aliyev's father, Heydar Aliyev, the future president of Azerbaijan, during the years of his work in the Council of Ministers of the USSR, the Kremlin statement added.
