The G7 countries will discuss the situation related to the alleged attack of Israel on the territory of Iran at the meeting of foreign ministers in Italy on Friday. This was announced Canada's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Melanie Joly. "I have been briefed by Global Affairs Canada officials about the overnight explosions in Iran. We are monitoring the situation closely. We will address the situation with the Foreign Ministers at the G7 session this morning in Italy," Joly wrote on X—formerly Twitter. Hosting the aforesaid G7 meeting, Italy's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Antonio Tajani, noted on X that the development of the situation after the alleged Israeli strike on Iran will be discussed in a session on the morning of the last working day, when a final announcement is expected.
