News - Biden announced new sanctions against Iran

The United States administration, together with its allies and partners, is imposing sanctions against Iran in connection with its attack on Israel late last week. US President Joe Biden said in a written statement. "Less than a week ago, Iran launched one of the world's largest missile and drone strikes on Israel. Together with our allies and partners, the United States defended Israel. We helped repel that attack. And today we are holding Iran accountable - imposing new sanctions and export controls against it," the head of state said. "Our allies and partners have imposed or will impose additional sanctions and measures to limit Iran's destabilizing military programs," Biden added.
