US Congressman Gus Bilirakis considers Turkey actions in South Caucasus ‘inexcusable’

by Lilit April 18, 2024

Gus Bilirakis, Co-Chair of the Congressional Armenian Caucus of the US, reflected on the actions being taken by Turkey in the South Caucasus, considering them continued atrocities and emphasizing their inexcusability. Bilirakis spoke about it at a US Congress event dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide, as well as to Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh. Also, he touched upon the efforts by the Greek American and Armenian American communities to ensure US President Joe Biden supports the true US allies in the South Caucasus. "We'll never give up. We'll never stop fighting," said Bilirakis, the Armenian National Committee of America (ANCA) reports on X—former Twitter.
