News - Pashinyan: We make efforts so that Armenia’s Yazidi community can maintain, develop its national identity

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan issued a congratulatory message Wednesday to the members of the Yazidi community of Armenia on the occasion of the Yazidi New Year, Malake Taus. The message reds as follows, in particular: “May the New Year bring success to you and your families, opening new horizons of development and progress. The Government of the Republic of Armenia makes continuous efforts so that the representatives of the communities representing the national minorities of our country, including the Yazidi community, can maintain and develop their national identity, as well as have proper opportunities for cultural and religious self-expression, education, and we will continue this policy. We also emphasize equal opportunities for economic activity for the benefit of everyone's individual and general well-being of our state.”
