Turkey MFA, US State Department officials meet in Ankara

Turkey's Deputy Foreign Minister Burak Akcapar and US State Department's Acting Deputy Secretary of State for Management and Political Affairs John Bass met in Ankara, the capital of Turkey. During the meeting, the main topics were related to the preparations for the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the US, reports Milliyet daily. The work aimed at the development of US-Turkey relations, including the strengthening of economic ties, was also discussed during the talk. Earlier, John Bass met with Akif Cagatay Kilic, the chief adviser on security and foreign policy of the Turkish president. US ambassador to Turkey Jeffry Flake also had attended that meeting.
