News - Ambassador Sobhani announces 2 Iran delegations’ upcoming visit to Armenia

The head of the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran will soon visit Armenia. Iran's ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, announced this during a press conference on Tuesday. He expressed hope that during this visit agreements will be reached on the development of trade between the two countries. The Iranian envoy informed also about the upcoming visit to Armenia by the head of the Ports and Maritime Organization of Iran. "The possibility of Armenian officials visiting Chabahar Port [of Iran] is being discussed. Armenia is interested in the opening of a center in this port, which will contribute to the development of [Armenia’s] trade with Iran, India, and the south in general," added the Iranian diplomat.
