News - Mkhitar Hayrapetyan: Iran has provided considerable assistance to Armenia in Engineering City construction project

Previously, we had launched meetings with Iranian colleagues and expected their assistance in the construction of the Engineering City. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan, the Minister of High-Tech Industry of Armenia, stated this during a press conference Monday. In this connection, he thanked the Iranian ambassador to Armenia, who was able to convince the Iranian contractor company to double its construction resources. "There is a construction boom there now," Hayrapetyan said. But he could not say all the reasons why the implementation dates of this project were delayed. "Not everything depends on us [i.e. Armenia]. The implementation of this project is important for Armenia, and I tried to solve this problem manually, as we could have lost time," the Armenian official emphasized.
