Red Cross visits Karabakh ex-leaders in captivity, Azerbaijan media report

In April, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) representatives again visited all the Armenian detainees notified by the Azerbaijani authorities, Ilaha Huseynova, Head of the Public Relations Department of the ICRC office in Baku, told APA, the latter reported. “The detainees were met in private and were given a possibility to exchange family news,” added the aforesaid Azerbaijani news agency. Nagorno-Karabakh former Presidents Arkadi Ghukasyan, Bako Sahakyan and Arayik Harutyunyan, former Foreign Minister David Babayan, National Assembly Speaker Davit Ishkhanyan, former Minister of Defense Levon Mnatsakanyan, General Davit Manukyan, and former Minister of State Ruben Vardanyan are in Azerbaijani captivity.
