At least three people were wounded in a shooting in a Philadelphia park where an Eid al-Fitr event, to mark the end of the Muslim holy month of Ramadan, was taking place. About five people were detained. The city with about one and a half million inhabitants is located in the eastern part of the US, in the state of Pennsylvania. Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel informed that there was an exchange of gunfire between two groups. According to him, some 30 shots were fired in this park, where about a thousand people were celebrating the aforesaid holiday. Bethel added that the police confiscated four weapons. There were no reports of casualties.
