News - Armenia MFA: Some partners may not like our seeking to advance our interests

In our relations with Russia and other countries, we are guided by promoting Armenia's national interests, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Vahan Kostanyan told reporters on Thursday. He added that some colleagues may not like that, whereas others may not. "But that is our ‘compass reading,’" added the Armenian deputy FM. Kostanyan reminded that Armenia forwarded its eighth edition of the agreement on the normalization of relations with Azerbaijan. "We are waiting for Azerbaijan's response. There are no issue submitting new proposals. The issue is for Azerbaijan to reflect on the agreements reached in the document within the framework of three principles," concluded the Armenian official.
