We are on standby, if one can say so, in our relations with Turkey. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this in his address Wednesday during the parliamentary debates on the performance of the Armenian government in 2023. "We are waiting for the implementation of the agreements reached and officially recorded; that is, the [re]opening of the Armenia-Turkey land border for citizens of third countries and holders of diplomatic passports," added Pashinyan. In his assessment, the reopening of the Armenia-Turkey border will be an epoch-making event for the region, so they will continue efforts in this regard. The Armenian premier touched also upon a sociopsychological nuance. "It is very important to record that I am talking now about Armenia-Turkey, not Armenian-Turkish relations. These two wordings have commonalities, but they are not the same," Nikol Pashinyan said.
