The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) wrote on X—former Twitter— that in recent weeks they have been carrying out regular patrols in the Yeraskh village area to monitor and control the disassembling of the steel plant under construction there. By their presence, they contribute to the safe and secure transportation of materials and equipment to a new location, EU the observers added. However, later this post was removed from the EUMA official X account, and another post was made with the following content: “EUMA has been regularly patrolling in the Yeraskh area, including the steel plant, to observe any security & military developments. By our presence, we have contributed to safer and more secure environment.” Azerbaijan fires, on a regular basis, at the Yeraskh steel plant under construction.
