The US is making efforts that are consistent with the administration of the Prime Minister of Armenia and economic reforms. This was stated by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, ahead of his tripartite meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, in Brussels. The US plans to provide more than $65 million in aid from its fiscal year 2023 budget; this is more than 50 percent more than two years ago, said Blinken. The US is committed to further increasing its assistance to Armenia's democratic and economic resilience through investments in food security, digital infrastructure, diversification of energy, diversification of trading partners, and some other priorities mentioned by the Armenian PM, the US Secretary of State added.
