by Lilit April 4, 2024

Armenia has not been officially requested to withdraw from the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO), or to review relations with the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, stated this, speaking with reporters Thursday. And commenting on the meeting slate for Friday between the Armenian PM, the EU European Commission President, and the US Secretary of State, Kostanyan noted that Armenia expects its partners to assist also in the development of a stable economy and resolving the socioeconomic issues of the forcibly displaced Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians.
