Armenia and the EU have made progress in cooperation in the security sector. This was announced by Ambassador Vassilis Maragos, Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Armenia, during Thursday’s parliamentary hearing on the new prospects and challenges of Armenia's European integration. In this context, Maragos pointed to the intensification of the political dialogue, as well as the clear and sincere discussion of issues related to security. Also, the EU Ambassador recalled the sending of an EU civilian monitoring mission to Armenia. The EU mission is taking clear and understandable actions for the Armenian people toward the strengthening security in the border regions, Maragos added.
