News - Armenia MFA on Russia: An allied country can be expected not to take de jure steps that would harm its ally

Vahan Kostanyan, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, stated this, speaking with reporters Thursday. "The statements of some representatives of the Russian foreign ministry in no way contribute to the creation of such an environment. We have talked about the problems that we see on the agenda of Armenian-Russian relations. I think that it can be expected that the allied country de jure will respond to it, and not only with words, but also with steps, and will not make statements and take steps that will harm, as they assure, the vitally important interests of their ally," added the Armenian deputy FM.
