And the Armenian side responded sharply. That "responsible job" seems to have been entrusted to NA [(National)] spokesperson Allen Simonyan. This figure, once accepted by Russian circles, went so far that he said on the air of H1 [Public Television] the other day that Russia has set a task of "bringing" our statehood “to its knees,” that the RF allowed Azerbaijan's attack on Armenia, the surrender of Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)], etc. [Sergey] Kopyrkin, the RF ambassador to the RA, described all that as a lie. [Armenian PM Nikol] Pashinyan is trying, with Alen Simonyan's mouth, to put an end to the Armenian-Russian relations hanging by a thread, and he kills several birds with one stone at once: he "spoils" Alen Simonyan to the end, probes how the RF will react to these statements; if the reaction is too harsh, it will "sacrifice" the NA president that it was his personal opinion.
