Armenia will provide $300,000 in aid to Japan to meet the humanitarian needs of the survivors of the January 1 earthquake on the Noto Peninsula of Japan. The respective decision was adopted at Thursday's Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government. The draft decision was developed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. The funding of this assistance will be earmarked from the reserve fund of the Armenia government. As noted in the explanation of this decision, Japan is one of the biggest donor countries of Armenia.
